You can and should travel for hospital, GP and other medical appointments that are arranged with you , including upcoming Vaccination Clinics
Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign 2021
We will be contacting you to make arrangements for when you should be coming to Sidley Surgery.
Our practice team will be busy this week calling eligible patients into the Covid-19 Vaccine Clinics on the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th January and over the weekend 16th and 17th January 2021.
We will be calling patients in order of priority. We have just over 5000 patients who are over 80 years of age in Bexhill.
This prioritised group includes Care and Nursing home residents whom we will start visiting from 12th January2021.
At this time we have vaccinated just over 2000 patients.
You WILL be called or written to accordingly, please be patient, and do not contact the Surgeries to enquire about your vaccine.
When you arrive for your appointment, please note the following.
- You must wear a face covering.
- You must Social Distance at all times.
- Please do not arrive early for your appointment, this will increase the queue times.
- Come alone if you are able to. Only one carer may accompany you.
- If you develop any symptoms of Covid, please do not attend your appointment.
- Be prepared to queue outside. There will be chairs for those who cannot stand for long.
- Most importantly, please keep your spirits high! This is new to all of us and we are dealing with a very delicate vaccine and have to handle with care. There may be delays to your appointment time, especially when we are transporting the vaccine to the clinic rooms. The staff are working hard to get this rolled out as smoothly as possible.
We thank you very much for your support, we look forward to getting all patients who want the vaccine completed as soon as we are able to.
BEXHILL GP PRACTICES 11th January 2021
Only patients with pre-booked appointments will be permitted to enter the surgery.
