3. Hastings Advice And Representation Centre
Hastings Advice & Representation Centre (HARC) provides free confidential advice, information and representation to over 10,000 people in a typical year, raising over three million pounds in unclaimed benefits. HARC’s service is available across East Sussex to all residents irrespective of age or financial circumstances

Our specialist Benefit Advisors can offer the help and support you need to resolve your problems. They will work out what financial help you are entitled to and assist you in claiming any relevant Benefits or Tax Credits. Working out which Benefits or Tax Credits you are entitled to can be complicated, especially with recent changes to the Welfare system.
In 2019 almost 15,000 people contacted HARC and 88% gained increased income. We secured £4,000,469 in previously unclaimed, enhanced or reinstated benefits of which £3,373,528 was obtained for people with disabilities.
